Bowen Therapy

What is it?

Developed by Thomas Bowen in the 20th century the holistic therapy involves a light touch in the form of rolling 'moves' over muscle and connective tissue.
The touch differs from that of massage in that it is briefly applied to precise points, which prompts the body to set right physical imbalances and heal injuries. Response to the therapy is normally quite rapid and a single session can have substantial success on long standing injuries.

It can be used to treat a number of ailments including: acute / chronic back pain; shoulder pain & frozen shoulder; whiplash; sports injury; sciatic and many others.

Importantly the therapy has been shown to be particularly successful at treating asthma, particularly childhood asthma.
